OPTIMA 9
The Optima multi-axis turning centre was developed to give greater versatility and faster cycle times in the repetition turned parts manufacturing sector. The non-cutting times have been reduced dramatically, enabling the machine to outperform many of its rivals in cycle times.
The machine features a unique 3 axis front turret slide, 3 axis rear gang slide, 2 axis counter spindle and powerful back working tool station with Y axis. The system enables extremely fast tool position changes.
AXIS CONFIGURATION
3 AXIS FRONT TURRET SLIDE This has X-3, Y-3 & Z-3 axes with a non-lift servo motor-driven system with up to 24 fixed or rotary tools, 12 for the main spindle and 12 for the counter spindle.
The turret is able to work with both the main spindle and counter spindle. It uses the BMT-45 rigid tooling system with internal/external fixed or axial/radial rotary tooling.
3 AXIS REAR GANG SLIDE This has X-1, Z-1 & Y-1 axes as well as 6 external tool positions for working with the main spindle. OPTIONAL Power tool system with 3 fixed and 3 rotary tools.
Y AXIS BACK WORKING TOOL STATION This has Y-2 axis with 8 internal or external fixed tool positions or OPTIONAL power tooling system with 3 fixed internal or external positions and 6 fixed internal/external or rotary axial/radial positions.
CNC SYSTEM
Mitsubishi CNC control system 700 multi-channel monitoring nano extremely fast and powerful touchscreen 19 ".
Part Test Program
Using the manual pulse generator, the upper carriage and lower turret can be moved throughout the program (front and back). This utility considerably shortens makeready machine.
